Formulas for Column Dates to Autofill

Hello there,

I have a sheet setup with 4 columns of dated. Project Owner Completion Deadline, Project Owner Actual Completion Deadline, Project Auditor Completion Deadline, and Project Auditor Actual Completion Deadline.

I am trying to figure out how to set it up so that the Project Auditor Completion Deadline will auto populate with a date 14 days our from the Project Owner Actual Completion Deadline. For example is the owner actually completed the project on 8/1/2020 I would like the auditor completion deadline to generate at 8/15/2020.

Can anyone provide help with this?

Hello @Erin Becker ,

This can be done by using the following Formula. Please note that when pasting this into your Sheet, you may need to delete the listed Column Name from the Formula, and re-select the correct Cell under the correct Column for it to create a reference.

=[Project Owner Actual Completion Deadline]@row + 14

I would advise using @row with this Formula so that if it's copied down, it doesn't reference the original Date Cell. See more on @row here: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/2476491
