Workspace Permission

Can I please confirm my understanding of the Workspace concept?

I have set-up a number of Workspaces for our users - a General area and then a Workspace for each of the Teams, eg Integration, Analytics, etc.

In the General area I have moved the Project Templates that I have developed and I have invited all staff to share this area.

Will staff then be able to open the Template from the General Area and then save it as a Sheet in their respective Team workspace (all persons have also been added to the respective Teams Workspace as appropriate??

Thanks that is what I thought but when one of my colleagues tried to do this she could not and she is a Licensed user with Admin privileges?

@Andrée Starå - she told me that she could not save it but she has gone home now - will check with her in the morning and let you know

@Andrée Starå - I set up a number of Groups in Smartsheet and then assigned Users to each Group. I then shared Workspaces using these Groups, using "Editor - can share' as the permission. However when a user, say from the Costing Team, goes into the Workspace they cannot update Tasks, etc, on the Sheets in the Workspace, unless I explicitly share the Workspace with the individual User rather than the Group to which the user belongs.

Do you have any idea as to why this is happening?
