Formula in a date column

I am trying to use the vlookup formula into the scheduled date column that also has dependency on predecessors. When inserting the formula into that column, the formula does not override that dependency. Is there a workaround to this?

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment to use formulas in the date columns that are selected in the Project Settings, but it's an excellentΒ idea!
