Is there a formula that would allow Smartsheet to automatically enter the current date in a separate column when a drop-down choice in another column is selected. For example, when the Progress column is updated (through the drop-down) to "Assigned", can a separate column called DateAssigned be auto-populated with the current date.
Then, when the Progress column is updated (through the drop-down) to "Submitted" can a separate column called DateSubmitted be auto-populated with the current date.
I'd like to be able to track the time to completion by including a 3rd column that calculates the elapsed days between the dates in DateAssigned and DateSubmitted.
