Periodic Reminders/Notifications


Hi everyone,

I've created a spreadsheet to track directives. In meetings we will often say a specific group needs to accomplish X by X date. Sometimes we will ask a group to report to us weekly/bi-weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually.

I currently have my smart sheet laid out as following: Date Issued - Due Date - Reporting Frequency (among others, but these are the relevant columns)

My question is, how can I set up a automation that says when reporting frequency is "weekly" send a reminder to X when it is X days before the date (Ex. reporting frequency is weekly, due every Friday by 1:00 pm. Send reminder to group everyday Wednesday - until status column = complete). Of course I would apply the same logic to monthly, bi-weekly, quarterly reporting frequencies as well but with different set reminder dates.
