Conditional Format based on Rows

Hello Everyone

I am currently looking for ways to format my spreadsheet, apparently the conditional format only refers to columns. Is there a work around on this that i could do a format based on rows?

Apologies, I was not able to read your reply.

My process was to create a conditional format on a per row basis.

You'll see in the picture the lists of KPI's together with the corresponding score.

Like for example:

Column YTD at KPI 1 , the condition will be if with in std and outstanding , cell will turn green, otherwise red if beyond, same goes to YTD KPI 2 and so on.

My problem was that the conditional formatting set in smartsheet is based on columns only . Is there any work around?

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

As a workaround, you'd use so-called helper columns and then reference those in the Conditional Formatting rules.
