Parent Task Bar not updating based on conditional formating

I have a conditional format set to turn the task name bold/black and the task bar black if a checkbox is selected.

 

The task bar does not turn black on Parent rows if the checkbox is selected.  The task bar will turn black if the checkbox is selected for Children rows.

 

Can this be fixed?

Hi Joe,

 

The task bar for parent rows can't be changed at this time (it will always remain gray) but I've added your vote for a way to change the parent task bar colors to our enhancement request list for further consideration.
