Multiple columns in a form

Hi all,

I know this has been discussed in the past and I found the archived thread on this but I saw no actual resolution. My question - is there a way to have multiple columns in a row (in a form)? This would streamline the form greatly and it would ease up on the scrolling and discontent from the users' side.
