Can I CountIF just the green balls in a Status Column

I want to just get a count on all the green balls in the RYG symbols in my status column?

This is the formula I am trying: =COUNTIF([Status]2:[Status87], "Green"

It returns #UNPARSEABLE. Then the RYG turn greens, it means the person RSVP. So on my dashboard I am trying to to 5 out 86 people have responded. Any help with a formula would be appreciated.

Try this. (You don't need the Square Brackets when it's a single word)

=COUNTIF(Status2:Status87; "Green")

It did not work. This is what I change the formula to =COUNTIF(Status2:Status87, "Green") it came back with #unmatch.

Is it because I have a formula in those cells to when the RYG turns to green that the count won't work. This is the formula in the field: =IF([RSVP Name RCVD]3 = [Last Name]3, "Green", "Red")

Is the range correct? Are there cells/rows within the 2-87?
