Tabulating Sheet Summary Data
Is it possible to automatically capture the results of a sheet summary on recurring basis and save them to another sheet? Almost like a daily cron job.
I have metrics that feed a dashboard from a open issues list, but want to track trends over time based on those metrics. Currently I only have a snapshot of the live status in the dashboard.

You could reproduce the formulas used in your Sheet Summary in a separate sheet using cross sheet formulas and then set up a copy row automation to yet another sheet to run daily and provide a historical record of your data. From this third sheet, you can compare your data over time.

Hi @Norman Chu
To add to Dan’s excellent advice.
You could also create a sheet summary report and set it up to send as an attachment (Excel) on a recurring schedule. Then you'd copy the information to another sheet.
Make sense?
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!
