Link from Cell in Other Sheet

I am linking from a cell in another sheet.  It is a date cell in format dd/mm/yyyy, however the link is converting this incorrectly to mm/dd/yyyy,   My personal settings is correct.  Can someone please assist?

Got it!  The column in the sheet I was linking to was not a date column!  Sorted.
