hi, lookign to create a logical entry based on a dropdown selection.

For example

Column A has drop down choices of Option 1 or Option 2

when Option 1 is chosen I'd like Column B to autofill a specified contact. and if option 2 a different contact

Yes, it will work as long as you add their email address in the formula.

You’d use a multiple IF formula structure for that. In Column B.

this will work for a contact? i will want automation to be based on the contact that auto populates

Yes, it will work as long as you add their email address in the formula.

got it, it worked

had to Format Column B to a text column to enter the formula, and then back to a contact list for it to actually work.😁
