How to keep a function in a cell after selecting a value from a drop-down
Hi Everyone,
I'm starting on Workflows now and I have a column called STATUS with drop-down values of Open, Sent for Approval and Closed. Additionally I want this formula on the STATUS column - If the Review Step Approval, set to Approved otherwise Closed. So I when the Approver, approves the work (The workflow logic sets the Review Step Approval Column to Approved), I want SS to look at that column and then automatically set the STATUS to Closed.
When I select Sent for Approval in the STATUS column drop down, SS keeps removing the formula. :(

Unfortunately, it's not possible have a formula and change the value manually without deleting the formula, but it's an excellent idea!

There might be a workaround. Is that an option?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!
