How to turn on Sort in older sheet?

I have a sheet that's a couple years old and has the sort feature greyed out. How to I turn it on?

When I create a new sheet the feature is available.

Susan - Have you tried saving the older sheet as a new sheet?

Hi Jeremy,  Thanks... I just tried saving it as a new sheet and sort is now active, but I lost the history in the cells.  Is there a say to 'save as' and keep history, or do I need to move all the rows to a new sheet?

The attachments and comments came over, and I'll need to update my notification but that fine.

Susan - My pleasure and happy to help. I don't know about the history portion. Worst case scenario; keep both sheets so you can reference the history on the older version.
