Import Malfunction
Hi there!
On 3 occasions now I have noted that when I try to utilize the "import" feature within SmartSheets, the information that I import never saves. Post importing, saving, and confirming the "properties" (that is in fact saving/registering that this is a new sheet), once I leave the sheet and come back all the imported info is gone. Only a blank sheet is left. Oddly, when I check the sheet history, it confirms that I was there and that I "viewed" the sheet.
Has anyone else run into the same malfunction when using the "import" feature? If so, any advice?
Being able to use this feature would really help save our office a lot of time, especially with file turnovers as we wrap up the year.
Best,
Anna

Hi @Anna Henson,
Typically when data is missing in a sheet, it has to do with either a Filter that's been applied to only show rows that meet certain criteria or indented child rows being collapsed underneath a top-level parent row on sheets that use the Hierarchy functionality. You may, however, be experiencing unexpected behavior and, as @Andrée Starå mentioned, contacting the Support Team will be the way to go as they will be best resource for troubleshooting this or any other technical issues that arise.
You may also find some useful information in our Troubleshooting Guide under the Missing Data section of the page.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Ben
