Updating weekly an Excel Spreadsheet in Smartsheet

I have imported an excel spreadsheet in Smartsheet and I want to update this each week with the same excel spreadsheet out of my Workday system, there will be all the same information but there could be new employees on this spreadsheet and employees with different dates, how can I do this?

A solution that would be perfect for this use-case is the premium add-on, Data Uploader.

Another option could be to create a so-called Master Import sheet, but if that will work depends on your data and use-case.

Andree - I have seen you reference the creation of a so-called "Master Import" sheet. What are the basics for how that would work?
