sending comments to users emails

I'd like to have all "comments" between users be cc'd to the users gmail accounts. How do I go about that?

To make sure I'm hearing you correctly, are you wanting users to be notified via email when someone replies to one of their comments in a sheet?

 

You might consider creating notifications for them, although at this time, they'll be notified when ANY change is made to comments: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/542904-using-notifications

What I was trying to get at was haveing any commnucations ( Comments) from a SmartSheets job be cc'd to the users email ( gamil account) this way a record of all the comm is copied to their email.  We archive our gmail with the jobs when we finish.

You can create Notifications, which will email the shared users when others add comments to rows in the sheet. The row and the added comment will be included in the email notification. (Check out the Help Center article from my previous comment.)

 

Note that people will receive an email notification when other people make changes to a sheet. (They won't be emailed on the changes they make.)
