Novice - Date Status Changed

I want to track when a project changes Status. I'm primarily using the Card View and want the date the Status changes or the project switches swim lanes, to have that day's date.

For example:

Old Status: Reviewed

Date: 10/19/2020

New Status: Completed

New Date: [Date Status was changed]

Thank you Andrée. This is definitely more advance than what I'm ready for, but thank you so much. I did find that adding a New Field as Auto-Number/System allowed me to add a Created Date and a Last Modified date, which will suffice until I'm ready to take on what you described above. :)
