Time stamp for column edits?
Is there a way to collect a time stamp of the last time a cell has been updated? More specifically, when I send an update request to a user, and they respond I would like a time stamp to then set a reminder to follow up 30 days after they responded. Thx!

Would it work to base it on the Modified system column in combination with something the user updates?
Is there anything unique that they always update?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!

That could, however with multiple stakeholders working in the row, it would not identify which column had last been updated. Thanks for the feedback! Do you know how I can submit a feature request?

Please have a look at my post below with a method I developed that probably could be structured to work for your use-case.

Happy anniversary to this post. This seems to be the most recent thread on wanting a time stamp on updates.
While @AndrΓ©e StarΓ₯ provides a workaround, it is far more complicated than the Date Stamp automation.
Has Smartsheet made any progress on getting a time stamp function?
