How to create a formula

Hi,

I have formulas that tracks the total number of referrals, the referral type, and total successful referrals. I need to add a function my formula to give a breakdown of the total by month and year. I am having difficulty finding the right function to add to my existing formula. The formulas are:

Total number of referrals: =COUNT({Timestamp})

Total number of successful referrals: =COUNTIF({E-mail Outcome}, "Successful")

Total referral type Emer. 24 hour : =COUNTIF({Referral Type}, ="Emergency - 24 hour IHCA response needed")

@Frances Lewis You are going to need to make sure you are creating your cross sheet references properly. When you added the new {Date Column} range, did you just type it in as is or did you click on the link in the help box to reference another sheet?

I don't have a screen shot of the expected outcome. What I want to display is the total of IHCA response for each month.

The formula solution that was given to me (see below), output an an #INVALID REF error when I added the function to give me a total for the month
