Determining the predecessors

Hi

In my project, activity activity A starts November 1 (the project start date), and finishes November 15

The activity A also depends on an intermediate activity B which starts November 5 and finishes November 8.

Now since activity A is dependent on both -- the starting point and also activity B, how do I define the predecessors of activity A?

There are two ways you can apply a predecessor relationship between rows in your sheet. In order to create multiple predecessors for a task, you can manually enter the row number of the first task followed by a comma and the row number for the second task. Alternatively, you can click on the pencil icon in the Predecessor column and enter the row number of each predecessor in the Edit Predecessors window.

The benefit of using the Edit Predecessors window is you also have the ability to choose the dependency type or add Lag or Lead time based on the requirements for your project.
