SUM by month

Hi guys,

I'm trying to total income by month, and my formula is not working. Can someone please advise where I am going wrong?

=SUMIFS({Fee}, {Date Received}, MONTH(@cell) = 10, {Date Received}, YEAR(@cell) = 2020)

Where {Fee} is what I need to sum. I'm then trying to sum in November 2020 in the above example...

Feel like I'm going mad trying to work it out!

Any help appreciated.

What is the error message you're getting?

You might need to add IFERROR to the start of each MONTH and YEAR part.

Something like this.

=SUMIFS({Fee}, {Date Received}, IFERROR(MONTH(@cell),0) = 10, {Date Received}, IFERROR(YEAR(@cell),0) = 2020)
