Formula to return the Card view order

Is there a way to return the sort order of a card?

Use Case: We use smartsheet for our intake. We have 4 areas that we sort requests into, and we stack rank requests in each of these areas. It's great that smart sheet will remember the order of cards, but we want to be able to always see the stack rank, aka the order position of all cards that meet a filter condition within a view by column.

Is this possible? Right now we have a column we manually update with the stack rank, but it would be awesome to have a function that would update when we reordered cards.
