sending a row to a non collaborator

Hi,

I would like to set up an automated protocol where it sends certain fields of a row automatically but without the recipient able to see the other content of the sheet.

With an alert based on triggers it will also send a link to the sheet.

when using a message it does not send the info of the fieldsas they can not be selected...

so any ideas ??

I think it will still allow the recipient of the mail get access of all the other infrmation of the sheet ... that is what I would lik not to happen ...

The recipient should only see the info from the cells that i selected and not the other information.

I think that when I send this to a 'non collaborator' - outside our company- that they will have the posisblity to click on the sheet and get the info of the whole sheet, which should not be seen by him...

do you understand my problem ?

No, it won't give them access. You don't need to share the sheet with them to send alerts and similar, so it should work just fine for your need, it seems.

ok, will need to test with a non collaborator then ( not involved ) to see what he is able to see when he receives the alert..
