Is there a way to track when a comment is added with system columns?

Adding a comment to a row does not update the "Modified By" or "Modified Date" column. Is there any way to change this?

At this time there isn't a way to configure the System Modified columns to recognize a change to the row if the only thing that happens is that a comment or attachment is added (see our Help Center article on System Columns for more information). You can also let our Product Team know about your feedback by filling in this form, here!

As another idea, you could set up Highlight Changes in the sheet to indicate when new comments have been added (as this will highlight the comment cell). Then you can check the date from the comment itself.
