Is there a way to automatically add two sheets data into one new sheets as parents and childrens row

Hi,

I was wondering is there a way to bring two smartsheets data into one automatically. Smartsheet A datas will be the parent row in Smartsheet C, and Smartsheet B will match the smartsheet A data and automatically added into Smartsheet C as children row.

I did a lot of research and it seems like it's not possible.

It might be possible by using cross-sheet formulas, but it depends on your specific workflow.

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)

Thanks for getting back to me.

I've screenshot an example I made for an rough idea of what I'm talking about. In real life, it will be thousands of rows, but just for an idea, here it is:

I'll have candidates in one sheet

And job in another sheet which will have automation workflow added so it will auto copy row to "Assigned Job" sheet

This is "Assigned Job" sheet which was auto added from "Job" sheet. The data from "Assigned Job" sheet needs to be parent row, and the candidate data have to be added manually to be child row

Not sure if this make sense to you. Please let me know if you need more details. Hope there is a solution for this to make work easier.
