Inventory Management

Hey y'all. I am working on an inventory management sheet - there is forum that we want filled out for when something is checked out, but instead of over-writing the old row information, its creating a new row entirely. Is there a way to over-write the old row information with the newly filled out forum information?

There are some possible workarounds.

When a new row is added, the old one is moved to another sheet.
Use a so-called helper sheet. The form would be submitted to the helper sheet, and then we'd use cross-sheet formulas to collect the latest information on the items in the main sheet.
