Column Formulas

I have a formula attached to a column, due to this my automation is not working for the row to move from the sheet to another sheet. The automation is correct, I tested if I take off the attached column formula to cell formula and the automation works. It is only when the formula is a column formula. If there is a way to have the automation work as well as have the column formula work that would be great.

Thanks

    Hi @Ethan Fairfield

    What trigger the workflow?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!

The trigger is when the "Health" row changes color and I have it with the Symbols RYGB bubbles for the color. I want it to move when the "Health" row changes to "Green". The way it changes is with this formula "=IF([Communication Formula]@row = "Yellow", "Yellow", IF([Communication Formula]@row = "Green", "Green", "Red"))". This formula is attached to the column. When it is attached to the column it does not move the rows with the automation.

@Andrée Starå Does automation work with columns that contain column formulas? I can get automations to update data in a cell in many cases where there isn't column formulas, it seems to work fine, but it's not working if the cell contains a column formula? Should it work?

Example: We have a vlookup as a column formula, it pulls in a date when it finds a match. When that date populates, I want the automation to change the status in another column. When we run the automation (when a value is added to this column), nothing happens - no error in the automation either.

    Please advise
