Is it possible to manage the frequency of updates from linked cells

Is it possible to link cells from one smart sheet to another but only have them update once a week rather than in real time? If so, how would I go about doing that?

Interesting use-case.

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)

Hi Andree

I have a smart sheet that is updated on a regular basis by my colleagues, this is linked through to a smart sheet owned and managed in a seperate part of the business that collats the input from many teams. The link automatically updates the data from my smartsheet to the collated spreadsheet in real time, however I would like it to only update the collated sheet on a weekly basis, say weekly Friday.

ie

1. colleagues can update original smartsheet at any time
2. link only updates collated spreadsheet weekly
