Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

As a workaround, It's possible to count each row when there is an attachment by using a Workflow to trigger an approval process when an attachment is added and then use that to count the rows.

Make sense?
