Remove "Completed" Cards from Card view in "Assigned to" lanes

I made a sheet with the purpose of using Card view to see what my team is currently working on. So each lane is a designer with their assigned project/tasks. But I cant figure out how to remove the project/task once it is marked complete. Is there a function I'm missing? Id like to keep who was assigned the task for future reference but Id also like to remove the card from view once it is completed. Does anyone have a solution?

To add to Bassam's excellent advice/answer.

You could add a filter only to show the Active cards.

Hope you are fine, you can create an archive sheet for your original sheet and design automation to move the row from your original sheet to the archive sheet when the status of the task change to complete.
