How to correctly use INDEX(COLLECT())

Is it possible then that the formula is not finding a match for the text that you've put in the quotes?

Try using the same criteria within a COUNTIFS function... if the result is 0, this is why you're getting an error with the INDEX(COLLECT

=COUNTIFS({Project Code}, [Project Code]@row, {Status Date}, "3 / 20 / 24")
