filtering on primary column

I am trying to apply a filter using the primary column but when i look for any of the values nothing is returned. the column is locked but I have tried it both locked and unlocked. any ideas?

It seems like the Contains portion of the filter is working like the CONTAINS function. The CONTAINS function doesn't pick up on numeric values. Only text values.

I am curious what happens if you create a helper column and enter

=[Control No.]@row + ""

which converts it to a text string and then try filtering on this new column?

Yes, the helper column with +"" should work.

Strange!

I tried as well, and it doesn't work in any column. It seems like numbers aren't working with contains.

It seems like it's a bug. (I hope)

If you haven’t already, I would recommend that you reach out to the Smartsheet Support Team.

It did not work with equal as well. I will open a ticket but I am a new user and wanted to make sure I didn't screw something up.
