Any license is required for connecting to the smartsheet from Alteryx or any other Tools.

we trying to load the data from smartsheet to xyz database by using Alteryx. Do we need the license for connecting the smartsheet. incase if i required the license, what type of license we need to consume the data.

If I'm not mistaken, you need to have a paid license (not an individual).
