Multiple users can update certain columns in the same sheet

Hi,

I have a master sheet which is share with several users, each of users should update certain columns in the same sheet, could it be possible to select a different column for each of them without seeing the other columns?, due to the number of items in the sheet the "Send update request" might not be an option.

I'd recommend using reports to show the sheet in different views.

I already considered that, however in order the users can see the report and update the main sheet from there, they have to have access to the sheet, then they will be able to see other columns, is there a way they can work from the report but not having access to the main sheet?

A solution that would be perfect for this use-case is the premium add-on, Dynamic View.

Is that an option?

If Dynamic View isn't an option, there might be a workaround. I've developed a Dynamic View light solution for a client that might work for you as well.

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)
