Is there a way to convert the content of cells obtained through formulas to static content?
At the end of every fiscal year, I'd like to be able to create a sort of "Snapshot in time" from some of my sheets. Also some of these sheets are feeding dashboards and I'd like to "archive" the dashboards as well. The ideal solution would be if there is a way to almost "shut off" the formulas in a sheet but keep the content.
I'm basically looking for a solution to take, say, a sheet and a dashboard with 2020 content and have it freeze content at 12/31/20.

The simplest method would probably be to save the folder/workspace as new.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic day & Happy New Year!

Thanks Andree. Good idea. That would work most of the time. I should have mentioned that in this particular scenario, the formulas are referencing other sheets that will continue to change. I guess maybe I'd have to
- export the sheet as Excel
- bring it back in to Smartsheet
- relink everything to the dashboard?
