Dynamically copying data

Currently my business has a number of projects where the tasks and items used for these projects are held in independent sheets. I'm trying to dynamically bring in specific data points into a "master list" so I can then run the numbers on those projects. Is there a way to dynamically load data from several sheets that follow a similar naming scheme? For example project ID's?

You would need to create cross-sheet references and formulas for each sheet or add a section in the sheet and use cell-linking from each to a so-called Master Metrics sheet.

Another option could be the new reporting features, Grouping, Summing, and more.

Would any of those options work/help?

Hi Andree,

Thanks for the response. The idea is to avoid doing the linking all manually. Our estimates are generated on individual sheets. My goal is to take this data and add it to a master sheet that contains all the data from each estimate. All estimate sheets are named based on the estimate ID but I don't see a dynamic way that I can reference in a formula the ID found in the master sheet row in order to dynamically pull the data from the right sheet.
