Copy column from one sheet to other sheet
I have a master sheet with the event name, date, location etc. that when a row is added to master sheet I just need the name and dates of event to be imported to new sheet (Event Shipping Manifest). Can that be done?
Thank you for your help.

There are two options.
- Copy the whole row and hide the other columns that aren't needed.
- Use VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH to collect only the columns as needed.
Would any of those options work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic day!

@Andrée Starå I'm looking to do a similar process as @HILDA KOSOVICH --- one thing that strikes me is that your proposed solution seems to require manual action on the destination (copy to) sheet.
Specifically, a person must enter a key value in a column on the destination side for the
VLOOKUP
to act on. Is this correct? Or is there an automated way around this manual, human step?
