Can I pull out a metric from a REPORT?

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment to use reports for metrics, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

There might be a possible workaround.

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)

As far as I understand, you can only reference a sheet and not a report in formula so short answer would be no. Having said that, you can now use the group by and summarizations features in the report itself if that helps (Note these capabilities have been very recently introduced in Reports)
