Wrapping text
UPDATE - Never mind, I found the functionality
Hello,
I've noticed the description column wraps text, but any other text column will not. Is there a way to do this for other text columns? I want to be able to create a list (see below) and be able to see the items of the list one on top of the other, but instead Smartsheet puts them sequentially after being entered.
1- Item a
2- Item b
3- Item c,
See, Requirements column below, I want each item to show on top of the other rather than one after the other.

I'm glad you were able to find the wrap-text functionality and apply it to your column!
Cheers,
Genevieve

The reason it won't text wrap is that the column is wide enough that it won't overflow and trigger the wrap. Really though, what you appear to be looking for is a way to add a line break between items. This can be done in two ways:
1: if you're using a text/num column type and you just have text, you can use ctrl+enter [cmnd+return on Mac] to put a new line between words.
2: if you're creating the contents of the cell using a formula via concatenation [e.g. =ColumnA@row + ColumnB@row + ColumnC@row or JOIN(ColumnA@row:ColumnC@row, " ")] then you can't use the ctrl+enter meathod above. Instead, you need to add a character for a line break. Smartsheets has a function for non-standard characters called CHAR() and the input for a linebreak is CHAR(10). So your new formula would be =ColumnA@row + CHAR(10) + ColumnB@row + CHAR(10) + ColumnC@row or JOIN(ColumnA@row:ColumnC@row, CHAR(10)). Interestingly CHAR(10) is the only example on the entry of the function for CHAR().
I know this post is like a year old, so you probably don't need this anymore, but it doesn't look like anybody above actually solved your problem so I figured I'd comment for the sake of future users stumbling here like I did.
Hope this helps
