Is it possible within a dashboard to allow a user to enter a unique data value (ie customer number or order number) and the widgets and fields withing the dashboard automatically update based on that unique value that matches all the cross referenced reports linked?

To add to Mark's excellent advice/answer.

It's possible with a workaround.

I've developed a solution that uses a form to submit the selected value, and you'd refresh the Dashboard, and all metrics, charts, reports would be updated according to that value.

It's a fairly advanced solution and requires so-called helper columns on all sheets and more that should be included.
