Help with Timesheet for Multiple Users

I am trying to set up a weekly timesheet for our employees. I started with the template for multiple users.

My questions are;

1-How can I limit each user to only see & edit their personal info only and yet allow the Admin to see all employees info in one place?

You could create a report that is set to "Current User", or you could look into the add-on Dynamic View.

To add to Paul's excellent advice/answer.

One thing to note, even if you share as with current user criteria they would need to be shared to the underlying sheets and therefore they can access the other data.

I agree with Paul, Dynamic View is an excellent and secure solution for this.

Another option could be that each employee has their own sheet that then is connected to one main sheet with all the data.

@Andrée Starå I hadn't thought of it until I read your comment, but if each of the individual employees' sheets are in the same workspace, a report could very easily be pulled for Admin.

Build out a template sheet then just "Save as new". Then the report for the Admin would allow for a two way update from them if anything needed changed.
