Create Summary Sheet

Hi,

I have been unable to create a summary sheet which I think will work better with charts on the dashboard. I created this report but want to do the same thing in a metric sheet. I am lost as to how to accomplish this. Any advice?

I also would like to mention I don't want to have to create summary field or formula. I would like the data on the sheet if possible. Is this possible??

Hope you are fine, you can create a new sheet and calculate the number by reference formula to your original sheet using a formula like the following

=COUNTIFS({original sheet}, IFERROR(YEAR(@cell), 0) = 2019, {original sheet}, IFERROR(MONTH(@cell), 0) = 4)

to count for example how may in April - 2019

To add to Bassam's excellent advice/answer.

There are some template sets in the marketplace that include what I can a so-called Master Metrics sheet, which can be an excellent starting point.
