Is there a way to collect a date value from another sheet if a certain criteria is met?

To met the criteria I will compare with strings with each other and for that i want to use Contains as the strings are not exactly same, there might be - , or some differences as it will come from user input.

You'd have to use Join(Collect(.... with If(Contains("abc".... function in the collect criteria.
