Enhancement Request - Permanent column sort feature

If using a sheet for tracking projects, it would be most useful for the sheet to allow a permanent column sort. For example, We always want the most recent Request ID showing at the top in descending order. Every day as the administrator, I need to manually sort this column. Hoping this can be changed in the future. If there is an option for this now, please let me know.
