Copy a Hyperlink

I am trying to copy a hyperlink into a cell and it won't let me copy and paste into the hyperlink box, am I missing something? Thanks

There are limitations on hyperlinks. The link must be less than 900 characters and cannot be to internal servers like sharepoints. Does you link fit into any of these categories?

Just use the keyboard shortcut: CTRL + V on Windows and CMD + V on macOS to paste the link you have copied to clipboard. Not sure why the right click Paste option is not enabled.
