Row Limit in SmartSheet
Good Morning,
We have built a SS to take registrations for Covid vaccinations. We are anticipating over 40,000 people to register. Will my sheet be able to handle that many rows?
Thank You,
Stephanie

Hi @StephanieR
No, not without an archive sheet because the limit is 20 000 rows.
You could move rows to the archive automatically.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

My team have a lot of experience doing this with the NHS in the UK. We are taking actual bookings rather than Requests for an appointment which is far less maintenance but if you are happy with Requests then I suggest you create a reasonably sophisticated workflow like the Smartsheet Free template for requests, which will help a lot. There is a danger of overbookings ( two for the same slot at the same time) . I definitely would not run that number through one form, one sheet, you need to break it up. The pinch point will come when you release the Form link, so stagger them.
If you want a ready made Booking system we have exactly that in Smartsheet but using a web form connected via our server to Smartsheet, so on choosing a date, if its full it will say so, or offer you any remaining slots along with a second jab booking according to your local "Jab Gap" rules. ie 30 days?
We have addressed the issue of volume and security which we can discuss privately if you wish.
Hope that helps
