dashboard feature to show what jobs are due today
This is something I have spent hours trying to figure out. my company has customer service reps and sales people that both want to see jobs (tickets) due today or due tomorrow.
If my sheet has ticket | date | equipment | salesrep | status, i want to create a dashboard that has tickets for today, equipment for today and or even better, tickets due today for sales rep JOHN.
just a pointer in the right direction would help. I have already created matrix and summary that shows number of tickets due today, tomorrow etc. The calendar view is close to what I need but I dont want to share the sheet with sales, just a matrix.
any help appreciated

Hi @john munro
I hope you're well and safe!
I'd recommend using a report or multiple reports on a dashboard.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Thank you for the quick response Andree, I didn't think that you could make dashboards from reports. I was told by Smartsheet that you couldn't actually do that.

No, you can't create dashboards from reports, but you can the reports in the dashboards.
Make sense, or do I misunderstand what you need?

Thanks Andree but I don't see anyway that inserting a report would work. I tried building a very simple report from my sheets which coincidentally all roll up to a another report. Reports as I see just aggregate information from sheets. I need to query the sheets to see what is scheduled for today or tomorrow and just list that.
I will keep trying to figure this out and perhaps schedule a session with SS. I was trying to avoid the long wait with them to get help

in excel I could use =IF(B1=1,A1,"")
I was trying to insert TODAY () rather than 3 such that if value in B =Today, then list contents of A
I must be way off
