How to ignore prefix
Hello, I have a working formula right now =IFERROR(VLOOKUP(C23,Sheet2!A:B,2,0), "") but there is a problem, sheet2!A contains prefixes like FV FA etc... I want to be able to ignore the prefix. for example column I want to type FV344567 and get a P5 return but the source sheet has F%344567 since the 2nd letter varies. I want to be able to type FV and then then umber and still get the return from column B

It looks like you are working in Excel. Excel formulas and functions are different than those in Smartsheet.
Right off my first thought would be to add a column to sheet2 and strip the prefix. Then reference this column in your VLOOKUP.
