modified or last updated date (as a widget on a dashboard)
I feel like this is a pretty basic/noob question - so maybe point me to an old answer.. we have a dashboard and I just want to add a widget that has the last updated date. I see that you can have last updated in a column but this is for all the widgets on a dashboard. Is there an easy way to do that? Or even just a "dashboard current as of [today's date]" - i don't even know how to do that..

Thank you, @Andrée Starå. Do you know if anyone has a total beginner version of this explanation? I almost understand this - basically, we are using the date identified by the system as "last updated" but for the sheet, right? In this case, all of the sheets referenced by the dashboard? I don't even know how to do that.. But say i figured that part out - now, i would add a "metric widget" and pull that info onto the dashboard? I feel like I almost understand...
